Hi Ianboyguyton,
Thank you for the video and link. Would you try resetting the tournament on the backend and then try to advance once more?
Hi, I restarted the tournament and it still didn’t advance when I selected a winner.

Thanks for the quick response.
You’re welcome. Thank you for trying that. I’ve checked out your link and verified the necessary JavaScript is loading. I’ve also verified the REST API is enabled. I installed the template you are using locally and verified I can advance users, so I don’t think it has anything to do with the template.
It looks like you might have some kind of caching enabled (either via plugin or on the host). Are you able to disable plugins to troubleshoot? If so, could you momentarily disable everything except Simple Tournament Brackets and test if it still fails? If I can figure out if/what plugin is impacting functionality, I’m happy to push a hotfix.
And if you can’t disable all other plugins momentarily, please share which plugins you have installed and I can try to reproduce here.
Thanks for the info! I have a lot of plugins, and I don’t think I have anything with caching. However, I am using Siteground as a hosting platform, and they have their own caching. I cleared that, and it still didn’t work.
This is my current list of plugins (pic): drive.google.com/file/d/1s5rNv0elbYok-9_gGguL30zUqHPGhSdf/view?usp=sharing
Temporarily, can you disable the two plugins by SiteGround, the two by UltimateMember, and the one by BestWebSoft.
Once you complete your test, you can turn them back on.
Ok, I disabled those plugins, 5 in total, and its still not advancing.
I’m stumped. Would you be able to email your PHP error log to support at Tournamatch.com? If you’re willing, I can build you a custom version with some additional logging.

Thank you so much for your patience to troubleshoot.
No problem. I know how it is to chase something down.
I’ll enable debug mode, try a few more times, and then post the log tonight.
Update. With help from @tournamatch they found that the issue was the “Randomize Seeding” option.
