• I report a bug to MailPoet
    – When you go to Subscribers and you have more than 100 on any of the categories (Confirmed, Subscribed , etc) you select all and a message shows up “Do you want to select the all 546 …” . You hit yes but It doesn’t really apply whatever action you choose.

MailPoet asked for access to my site to see the problem.
24h after I got an email saying that they have by mistake, manually confirmed all my unconfirmed users. After the email I check my site, and not only that but also my Unsubscribed users got manually confirmed ..

Today I started to get emails from, what were unsubscribed users a day ago, saying that they don’t want to receive mails from me because they have unsubscribed from my site.

And Mail Poet says “We are sorry, but mistakes happen ”

    Thanks for the suggesting.
But doing that I would loose a lot of new subscribers … not a solution but thanks

What happens if the unsubscribed users complaint about my emails as SPAM since they have unsubscribed ? Can I get into troubles ?

We are working with kiliot to restore the situation by email.

I have finally the problem solved.

After a good communication with MailPoet Support team, they have found an easy and fast way to solve the problem.

    Everything is good now.

So I guess you should consider changing your vote then 🙂

    Agreed @eminozlem

My vote was a consequence of something that happened.

MailPoet find a nice, clean and easy way to restore my subscribers data. But, still the problem happened and I’m dealing with the consequences right now. I’m still getting emails of my unsubscribed customers saying “I have unsubscribed from your list why I’m getting more emails ?”

And that is something you can’t change, already happened .

So @mailpoet Staff and @eminoziem I’ll not change my vote.
@mailpoet if you don’t want this kind of votes, be more careful when you touch sensible data like customers emails.
Forgot to mention … I’m using MailPoet Premium .

I have no connection to mailpoet whatsoever, stumbled upon the topic by coincidence. I even forgot what this topic was about, just got a notification from your @ mention.

Just wanted to let you to know this kind of attitude is not helping anyone. People spend countless hours to make these things, and people make mistakes. And it seems they took the time to help you out after the incident and got it sorted out. So, I’d say this is a perfect case where a vote changing is due.

Personally I would not vote 1-star to anything that havent brought my entire site down. In which case, I still may not vote 1-star because while it might have brought my site down, it probably havent those of other hundreds. just my 2 cents.

    > Who said that you have a connection with MailPoet ? No body said that, don’t know why you are denying something that was never said in this thread.

    > So you say that I should not post a 1 start vote because of what happened ? Instead I should be quiet about and be happy that MailPoet have fixed a problem they have created? We all do mistakes and we all have to deal with the consequences. I’ve paid for this service and they have messed with my business and customers, yes I complaint so next time MailPoet don’t do the same mistake or at least do a backup before doing such type of actions.

    > That depends on what type of business you’re running and what type of service you’re providing. My unsubscribed customers received mails from me and this is, for me, a very unprofessional and it can lead to mail spam complaints. On my professional way of doing things, that’s a very bad way to do things, as for my business is not good at all also. But, again, that depends on your attitude towards your business and your customers.
Your first and only comment on this thread was “So I guess you should consider changing your vote then :)” . Do you consider that this adds any value to the thread ? In my opinion, those words are not even worth 2 cents.
