# Neve Theme Causing Critical Error

 * I’ve just spent 2 hours with Hostgator trying to solve a critical error message.
   I was eventually able to login with all plug-ins off. When I switched the Neve
   Theme back on, I was booted out again. This is what Hostgator have said.

 * Based on the behavior you’ve described, it appears the issue is related to the
   Neve theme rather than Elementor or the HostGator plugin. Since activating the
   theme immediately triggers a critical error and logs you out of the WordPress
   dashboard, it suggests there is a compatibility conflict between the theme and
   either , PHP, or another plugin.
 * At this point, I recommend leaving the Neve theme disabled and continuing to 
   use the currently working theme so that you maintain access to the WordPress 
   dashboard.
 * Since the theme itself is triggering the critical error, you’ll need to contact
   the Neve theme provider/developer for further assistance. They will be able to
   review theme-specific errors, compatibility requirements, and any recent updates
   that may be causing the issue.

   PHP version on your server.

   you provide a few more details?
 * **The WordPress Error Email:** When a critical error occurs, WordPress usually
   sends an automated email to the site’s administrator address with the subject_“
   Your Site is Experiencing a Technical Difficulty”_. If you received this, could
   you copy and paste the **error details and stack trace** from that email here?
 * **Enable Debug Mode:** If you didn’t get an email, you can enable WordPress debug
   mode to display the error directly on your screen. You can do this by opening
   your `wp-config.php` file via FTP or File Manager, finding `define( 'WP_DEBUG',
   false );`, and changing it to:

   define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY',
   true );
 * Once enabled, refresh the broken page and paste the error message that appears
