I currently have a WP Multisite running, and I’d like to setup one of the sites with Multilingual Press. So, in a sense, I’d be setting up a “network of networks”, and I’m not sure how to go about setting it up.

Can you point me in the right direction to set this up?

Here’s an example of what I mean. My network is currently setup like this.
These three sites are currently setup with Multisite domain mapping.

I’d like only site #1 to be multi-lingual, like this: (no change) (no change)

    Hi there,

sorry, but I don’t understand how your site is set up right now. In case you have a single sub-domain multisite, and you are not using multi-network functionality (if you don’t know what this is, you most probably are not 🙂 ), you should be able to register new sites like without a problem. In the MultilingualPress settings, you then define what sites should be related/connected to what other sites. This could mean you only have MultilingualPress active at and, or maybe you also want to have and some day. These translation groups, meaning * and *, don’t have to do anything with each other.

    Does that answer your question?

If not, maybe provide a little more context.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello Thorsten,

The other day, after I’d posted this question, I think I figured out how to make it work, and it looks like it lines-up with what you say.

I’ll have to test it out soon.
