Network dashboard returns server error

    I have a multisite network of 5 sites where I am the only user (and the super admin). Everything has been running smoothly, except now I can’t access the Network Admin Dashboard. When I try, the browser says:

    Server error
    The website encountered an error while retrieving http://… It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.
    Here are some suggestions:
    Reload this webpage later. [thanks, right?]
    HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.

    I can, however, visit each individual site’s dashboard.

    The database shows my username in the site_admins field, displaying this:
    a:1:{i:0;s:4:"root";}
    But in the users menu of a site dashboard it says that my role is administrator, not “super admin”

    I’ve tried creating a new user and setting that username in site_admins, but I get the same problem. 🙁

    Can anyone help ?
