network analysis of tag clouds

wondering if anyone has done any analytical work looking at the network structure of tagged blogs? i’ve just written a short perl script which generates datafiles in VNa format for use with NetDraw, from any WordPress site uwhich is tagged using via Jerome’s keywords plugin and the results are promising — anyone else doing any of this kind of thing? Currently I’m using the tag cloud from a site I built recently for a client (www.bigshinything.com) — even naive use of Netdraw helps to to identify ‘clusters’ of themes and topics… interesting stuff, so far…
