  • Hi there,

    Trying to create a nested list does not seem to work. The

    <ul> tag is automatically matched up with a </ul>
    tag before the next
    <ul> tag.

    I’ve got a long list of citations and I want them to look like:

    * Author1
    _________* Title1
    _________* Title2
    * Author2
    _________* etc …

    (and of course I would like to use CSS list selectors for styling as well, so I would like to use nested lists or a similar construct.)

    How do I get around this behavior?

    Thanks,
    -jim

  • 1. the wysiwyg is never turned on for my WP installs
    2. I don’t let WP to try to “correct” my code (Options > Writing)
    … and never have any problems with whatever code I put in – it always stays as intended.

    Moshu,

    I see what is happening. I failed to understand that XHTML ul tags can only contain li items.

    Sorry for that, my bad.
