I’ve been searching for a solution to this but I have not been able to find anything.
What I want to achieve is a comment structure something like the one shown in the first picture in the post: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2009/02/19/comment-threading-is-here-plus-other-cool-comment-settings/
The problem is not the nesting itself, but the backgrounds of the nested comments, the “children” if you please. In this example it looks great because the background-color of the “parent-comment” ends when the “children-comment” begins. I don’t how to get this result!
In my case, when the children-comments are indented, the margin on the left between the children and the border of the parent comment have the background color of the parent. This means that the background-color of the parent is sitting under the children comments, thereby making the left paddings filled with the color of the parent. This is what I want to remove. An example of this can be found here (the first picture of the post): http://meidell.dk/archives/2004/09/04/nested-comments/
Does anyone know how to do this?
