Nested comments are shown on the same level

    Hi,

    I have the feature nested comments turned on in WP config, but they are not shown nested. I have tried to deactivate all plugins but is does not help. I have also deleted Twentyseventeen and reinstalled it but without effect. Furthermore I have tried to switch off and on the nested view but that does also make no difference.

    As soon as I change to another theme the comments are shown nested. The only thing which is left in my opinion are any settings which are left in DB.

    Any Ideas?
