Support » Plugin: Rest Routes – Custom Endpoints for WP REST API » Needs work to actually make this plugin work…

I had to remove the “<form>” tag start and end from the wprr-restroutes.class.php file in order to get the fields to save correctly but I’m still having trouble getting the actual RESTful call working to give back corresponding data as well.

    Hello,

Thank you for your feedback. What kind of problem are you experiencing when building your custom route?

I believe it was a problem on my end using 3 different category IDs, published post status, and “post” type. I ended up making it work with a WP Rest API v2 command and didn’t have to use a custom route so for now I’m ok without using Rest Routes… However, the problem I was having with Rest Routes is that even though the data is defined correctly in the post metadata now, it’s still just giving me back an empty array on the actual response for the url generated by Rest Routes…

I’ll improve this by showing the generated SQL query in the admin. Thank you for your feedback.
