Needs filtering of low set of characters

Recently Ive needed to help resolve two problems with low characters getting into posts, as seen on:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/rss-error-42
and
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/rss-feed-error-96Next version probably needs some form of filtering out 0x00 -> 0x2F characters.
