need wp front page help

    i can’t find a plugin to help, can anyone help with this?

    If you look at tori spellings wordpress HERE

    she displays her cat. with the latest post on her front page…. simple right… wrong! I have been trying for weeks 🙁

    second she has a button that displays the cat name over the picture?????

    Please be patient with me I have limited knowledge but I take instruction well.. maybe there is a plugin that already does this ?
