# Need Upper/Lower Case Variable Names

 * I am trying to use the Caldera Forms redirect function & passback variables to
   pass information to a CardPointe payment page. However, the URL parameters for
   CardPointe/CardConnect are case sensitive, and Caldera Forms is forcing all of
   my variable names to be all lowercase. This is a very frustrating quirk of an
   otherwise super functional feature. Can anything be done to correct or circumvent
   this?
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks for using Caldera Forms.
 * You could use the “caldera_forms_redirect_url” filter for this.
 * Here is an example of that filter used to modify query args on redirect. If you
   need help using modifying this, please open a support ticket.

 * Thanks for the reply!
 * I actually went and found the line of code that forces the variable to be lowercase
   and removed it, which I know will be overwritten in the next update. So I guess
   my question/feedback request at this point is:
 * 1) Why force them to be lowercase at all? and
    2) Please consider removing this(
   extremely, extremely frustrating) “feature” from the variables so I don’t have
   to modify it myself
