  • I need to turn off the post date on some of my posts but I want to keep it for others. Is there a way to do that?

    Thanks.

  • There likely is, but it would be dependent on theme/CSS in use, so we would require a live site link and specifics as to what pages/posts you desire changed.

    For example, it would be http://www.discover-hawaii.com/maui-hawaii/. Thanks for your help.

    .post-919 span.date.published.time {
        display:none;
    }

    Above will hide the date on that specific post
    Below will hide the date on all posts:

    span.date.published.time {
        display:none;
    }

    To do multiple posts:

    .post-919 span.date.published.time,
    .post-*** span.date.published.time,
    .post-*** span.date.published.time, {
        display:none;
    }

    *** is the post_id which can be seen in the source code using a web inspection tool or by hovering over the post title in the posts page and looking at the url that appears at bottom of window.

    These edits should not be made directly to your theme’s stylesheet, but instead in a Child Theme, Custom CSS Plugin, or theme provided Custom CSS Option. Edits to parent themes are lost on theme update.

    Thanks very much. That works! I appreciate your help.
