Apparently I made some mistake in applying role capabilities.

When i log in at the admin level it is showing the stripped down dashboard with missing menus. One of the missing menus is the AAM menu itself so now I can’t go back in and reset the roles back to their default.

I’ve tried deactivating, deleting and reinstalling the plugin but it keeps the same settings as before the deletion. I assume that the plugin must be keeping the tables associated with it even upon deletion but I can’t find the tables in the database.

I really like this plugin and would like to use it but this is frustrating me. I just want to start all over with editing the AAM settings so I can use this plugin. PLEASE HELP!!

I resolved the issue. I was initially having problems finding the database tables that AAM was using. There are tables located in wp_options and wp_usermeta.

    Hi mk_bailey,
Sorry for delay in response. I’m sure you got a lot of positive experience and deeper knowledge in WordPress Core.

    Best Regards,

Hi mk_bailey, how did you figure out? I have the same issue.
