# Need to restore functions.php

 * Hi, I had downloaded shortcake UI and pasted some code in the theme’s functions.
   php to register the UI, then I went back and removed the code but got an error
   while saving the file, and now I get error when I update any settings or delete
   any plugin.
    Here’s one error I got, Warning: Cannot modify header information–
   headers already sent by (output started at /wp-content/themes/mesocolumn/functions.
   php:305) in /wp-includes/pluggable.php on line
 * So how can I restore functions.php?

 * don’t know unless your hosting had some kind of backup of files, you can’t.
    
   redownload the functions.php from your theme version will do.
 * don’t add anything on parent theme file.
 * use child functions.php or wp-content/meso-custom-functions.php *create one if
   do not have.
