# Need to remove custom php code from sidebar???

 * Hi,
 * I have ads on the side of my pages in the sidebar. Trying to remove them can’t
   find where. Someone else coded them into the php, but I don’t know php.

   page…it says change in the php..its hardcoded?

 * These are some of the files created, I understand include files but can’t find
   where the “include” command was put. I think the custom ads are ref. css files.
   But the css files are not listed in the Edit feature on the right.

 * Better still, can I replace the sidebar.php file with a default one? I don’t 
   mind resetting all the side bars.

 * WordPress doesn’t ‘include’ files. Perhaps you need to review [Theme_Development](http://codex.wordpress.org/Theme_Development)
   to get a better understanding of the templating system.

 * We still need the sidebar.php script to be able to help.. it looks like you may
   have tried to post it but it was blocked.. if thats the case please make sure
   you put the code in backticks ‘ ‘ . then it wont get blocked.

 * I would head Esmis advice. Ive been on these forms enough to see him solve probably
   1000000000 problems. Also your problem is completely different. Gekko is asking
   for help removing ads from sidebar. not a header.
