Before I start messing up my website, can any one point me in the right direction to make my font bigger in the side bar and posts, thanks in advance.

Hi there,
1- Use Google Chrome Inspector (http://cs.brown.edu/courses/cs132/resources/inspector/) to find the right CSS class

2- Add in the CSS class and style the font size

E.g: Siderbar widget title
.side-widget h3 {font-size: 1.2em;}

Something like that.
