• I don’t know my site’s endpoint. I was trying to configure Qumana to edit my blog. I put in the details for blog that I just created today. I’m getting an error message that reads,”Error trying to retrieve your blog information. Error decoding XML-RPC response: The processing instruction target matching “[xX][mM][lL]” is not allowed.” Whenever I try putting down what I think is the site’s endpoint. I have my files in the root directory of my site. I don’t know if that would’ve effected it.

I need some help, I really need this to work. Thanks.

  • If your blog is what’s located in your profile, http:`//yourdomain.com/xmlrpc.php seems to be correct. I got back the expected error (XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only.)

    HOWEVER

That advertisemnt splatted all over the response page is sure to hose up any xmlrpc client you try to use. Are you using a free hosting of some sort?

My hosting service got some errors in my account. Thanks for the tips. I’ll probably need to upgrade the service plan =/
