Need suggestions of a great parent theme with regular updates

    As I understand when creating a child theme it’s important that the parent theme is one that has regular updates.

    Besides that a parent theme should have regular updates, for me it’s also important that it has a good and user friendly backend. For instance I like the way that Optimize Press has organized things.

    Can anyone suggest a clean parent theme to start with that has the things mentioned above?
