Title: need staging site Last modified: August 31, 2016 --- # need staging site * [brujoyllen](https://wordpress.org/support/users/brujoyllen/) * (@brujoyllen) * [10 years, 3 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/need-staging-site/) * I have a hosting provider who set me up with the WP theme already installed in Cpanel and pointing to the domain. * However, I wanted to upload a simple landing page I built in boostrap first ( a coming soon vibe) for the main domain to be pointing out. * I am unable to reach my provider at the moment and would like to know a simple way to do this. I have not made any changes to the freshly installed site. * I have read some things about stage coach, but unsure about setting up a separate DB and would like to know the easiest way to accomplish this. * Obviously making a subdomain in Cpanel, but methinks that just simply copying all the WP files and pasting them into the subdomain folder while I am upload the new files in the interim is not as easy as I want to think. * I appreciate the help! All you need to do is put code like the following in: `` Use that and change the coming soon URL to somewhere taht the bootstrap page is like a subdomain for example ‘comingsoon.yourdomain. com’ and just log out and every logged out user can now access the coming soon page.
