• When I go to edit any of my pages on my website, it isn’t listing the original “editing” stuff. I am unable to add images or colored text or anything to my page. All the options that I have are “b” “i” “link” “b-quote” “del” “ins” “img” “ul” “ol” “li” “code” “more” “close tags” and “fullscreen”. How do I set this back to normal, and why is it doing this? If I try to add images by “adding media”, it will list the images in code.

    How can I stop this?

So, I am unable to see the original visual toolbar on WordPress.

Sounds like you’re using the plaintext editor. You can switch back to the visual editor by clicking the button marked “Visual” above and aligned with the right edge of the text box.

There’s not a “visual” button anywhere.

    Hey there lucky,
If you look at the top right of the content box where you are seeing the code appear it should say text and the visual tab should be right next to it. Hope this helps. If you have any further questions feel free to ask.

Can you show us a image of the problem.

Does the visual editor appear again if you switch to the default Twenty Fourteen theme? Have you tried disabling all your plugins?

I am even unable to post a screenshot here. All I see is this in the “reply” section here: “b i link b-quote code ol ul li”. So, I am even stuck in text mode on WordPress forums!

To post a screenshot, you need to upload it either to your own server or to a place like Imgur and then post the link here.
