• So, I just recently moved over to WordPress from LiveJournal. Thing is I’ve been tweaking the code of my blog there more or less since 2003 and come up with a pretty nice layout. (http://bimma.livejournal.com/)
Granted, it’s five kinds of hacked to infinity, but the result is pretty much what I want my WordPress blog to look like. I’m currently using the Mystique theme (www.geimryk.com) and am completely lost in what parts of code to alter to get the results I want :/
The LiveJournal S2 style system was a completely different kind of beastie than this, although I wager this is *so* much simpler….

So, anyone that can guide me in the right direction at least? I’ve seen lots of people posting codes on pastebin to have them decoded, but I have no idea what I’m even supposed to post to get decrypted or not…and how I’ll use it once I’ve fixed what I need. Any help is greatly appreciated 🙂

So, nobody who is willing to point me in the right direction? 🙁

Am I *SERIOUSLY* the only person here who has ever immigrated from the LiveJournal Style system? 🙁

@geimryk What kind of changes are you looking to make to Mystique?

First and foremost, I’m looking to make the colour scheme look the same as it does on my old LJ blog. (http://bimma.livejournal.com)
I just need to find *where* in the css to edit things like entry background colours, font size, font colours, etc etc.

I don’t know where to find the code you’re supposed to submit to pastebin to have it decoded. 🙁

You can adjust some of the settings by going to the APPEARANCE menu > Mystique settings.

Beyond that, I’d suggest creating a child theme, which is a duplicate version of the parent Mystique theme. You can then tweak the CSS (style.css) for the child theme. Upload the entire child theme to WordPress.

More info. and instructions about child themes can be found at:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
    Hope this helps.
