Need some help for plugin

Hello There,
I am very new to wordpress.I want to create a plugin which can maintain to-do-list.Requirement is that I need a button at every post at blog and detail view both.After clicking on that button I need to add that post in my to-do-list.I will have a link my-to-do-list where I can see my list.I read the docs but couldn’t find how can I have a page on ‘my-to-do-list’ where logged in user can see what items he added.Is it possible with a plugin? Can anyone please give me guideline for this or recommended any plugin which is similar to this?Although I need some more functionality too but I’ll do it if I get some start.
