• I am happy with Storefront however do want to make some chanes but don’t really know how.

My logo which was displayed perfectly with previous theme will not display properly with Storefront due to dimensions. Changing the dimensions in Paint does not result into an acceptable outcome.

The site identity will display through the logo and of course you can remove the site identity but don’t feel that is the way it should work.
Clearly this is a position issue.

Also through the logo the rectangle for “Product search” is displayed with definitely shouldn’t be there. Once again this seems to me as being a position issue.

And lastly the articles I entered into the Woocommerce product store are not only displayed as picture with a description but at the bottom after the last picture as text. That, I feel, is undesirable and only want the picture displayed with short product description. How do I go about doing that?

Please bear in mind I have some css experience but not a great deal.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

  • Hi there,

Sounds to me as though you’re adding your logo as a header image which isn’t going to work very well for a number of reasons. If you’re running the latest version of WordPress I recommend using the purpose-built logo feature. You can see how to add logos here; https://make.wordpress.org/core/2016/02/24/theme-logo-support/

Sounds like you’ve added the image to the product description? Just remove it and it won’t display 🙂

If you can share a URL I will probably be able to help more.
