• Guys, you made really cool update with this UI.
But pleeeease…. Can i have a search? This it the most powerful thing i’ve used.
Because i just use cmd+f and search some hook = 2 sec.
Now i do not have ANY possibility to search through.

I will replace it with the old one.

    Thanks for the message.

What sort of things do you search for? If you switch to the correct tab (eg. “Hooks & Actions” and then perform a search, does it work?

You’re not the first person to point out this problem with the new UI. I’m going to have a think about how I can improve this.

Well, as i understand it correct, now its like a console and is native to browser.
What is bad in that case:
1 cmf+f not working in that location.
2 you do not have any search within that section.
3 you have tabs, so it should search through all of the tabs.

How did i use this plugin?
i just hit cmd+f and paste the hook or template/template-part that i want, in 1 sec i could see the “picture”.

    That was really cool. Right?

QM is not a native browser console, it’s just styled to resemble one. It’s all HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in the page.

You can still use the ctrl+f/cmd+f to perform a search for text that appears on the page, including the contents of the currently visible panel in QM. This means that the same number of steps are required as in the previous version of QM:

    1. Hover over the admin toolbar menu and click the name of the panel you’re interested in (eg. Hooks & Actions).
    2. Press ctrl+f/cmd+f.
    3. Enter your search term.

The browser will scroll the panel to the matching search terms.

The search doesn’t work across multiple panels, but I don’t think that’s such a common use case.

Thank you, the plugin itself is very useful.
