Need Oxygène for my WP

    Hi

    Some told me to change theme
    Some told me to reduce categories
    Some told me to reduce tags

    but

    I have about 300 (+/-) other categories to add as well as probably between 30 to 50000 more tags (with the time)
    The Sql server is getting already over 185000+ queries / hour
    The site is about 19 Gigas big

    I feel like bugged and really need some good advices from expert on huge WP blog.

    Do I need to leave the WP system and go back for a regular website ?
    Do I need another host as startlogic ?
    Do I need another system / theme / ?

    Really need help on this one

    You need a better host. If you’re on shared hosting and getting that many queries, you probably need a VPS.

    In lieu of that, try caching plugins like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache.

    W3 gave me 5 error messages after installation WP 3.1 and I installed DB cache – what is a VPS and is this expensive ?

    VPS is a virtual private server. Runs about $50 US a month.
