By “I want to remove link,” are you saying you want the image in a gallery to not have any link around it at all, or you don’t want the custom url to be applied?
Yes, I wanna that selected image in a gallery will not have any link around it at all.
For avoiding custom url I think u already implemented shortcode [gallery ignore_gallery_link_urls="true"]. Am I right?
If I put no link in custom url, then this will get the default attachment/post url as per wp inbuilt. Am I correct?

Correct. Right now there is no ability to entirely remove a link. I’ll look into adding it in a future release.

I’m having the same issue–want to remove links from client logo images in a Gallery. Looking forward to this option in the next release!

One suggestion: The help text below ‘Gallery Link URL’ field should add with ‘Use [none] for no link’. So that users easily able to set, and not to read its documentation for it.
I was testing one additional thing, I used same image in media gallery and included in 2 gallery in different posts, with different links on it in each. I have seen that changing a link on the image in one gallery automatically updating the same link in other gallery. This means the link configuration is mainly attached to that particular image rather than to gallery or post where its included to. The similar is the thing with caption itself for the image.
Not an issue, but this means that if we want to show same image in 2 different galleries or posts with different links, that’s not possible. In that case user have to upload same image again and use the other one for new caption or link setting.
You can include this thing in FAQ or documentation info of this plugin, so that users will have no doubt.
Anyways, now the plugin is complete.
