    Hello,

    Instagram changed its Legacy API/Developer settings as of 6/29/20. Is there a new way to get the Client ID and Client Secret? Your directions say “Follow directions in video to register another Instagram client and to retrieve your Instagram user information. Do not skip any of the steps.” but there is no link to the video. Please help. My Instagram feed is no longer displaying successfully with your plug-in on website.

    Here is a video by Youtube user that will guide you exactly how you can get Access token.

    Hi Gangesh,

    Thanks for responding. I actually need the Client ID and Client Secret. Is there a way to get that if I have the access token already?

    Its comes from App on facebook, same place you get Access Token.

    If you can make a quick app on FB, you can get this plugin up and running in 5 minutes or less.

    I created the app in Facebook already, but need the Client ID and Client Secret (not for the app), but for my specific Instagram username. Where would I find that? I didn’t see it next to Access Token.

    In video at point 1:23, you will see Instagram App ID, App Secret.

    Hi Gangesh,

    Thanks for responding. Looking for Client ID and Client Secret specifically for the Instagram username, not the app ID and app Secret. Entering those numbers did not work for this plug-in.

    Hello,

    Thank you for the heads-up on the update. I just added my Instagram name and generated a shortcode successfully; the preview of the shortcode was successful. Do I have to place this plug-in again in Widgets or should it automatically update in a few hours? The 4 square Instagram images are not showing up on my website right now, but wasn’t sure if there’s a cache or a waiting period before it updates.

    Hello,

    You need to generate shortcodes again and add it to location where you need. It will be much quicker.

    So we use widgets on my site. Is that still possible with this plug-in?
