Support » Plugin: Module Extender For Divi » Need more instructions

  • Hi

This is very vague in terms of what we have to do. I created the directory but the format isn’t clearly specified. I tried various things but it never worked.

You state it must be a zip file but there is no info on what files must be included in the zip file, what the file names should be etc.

You should include a sample module so we know how to format our own.

Hi WPSeeker Documentation is coming but is not ready yet please be patient as it is a lot of work.

It’s been a month and you have now started to sell modules, but there is still not even one sample module provided so we can build our own. That is what your plugin promises, the ability to create our own modules.

looks like a lost cause plugin to me. Glad I found this one support question.

Good idea, bad approach and even worse business model.

I will wait a week and gave a 1 star rating.

We have written a boiler plate module, and will begin posting a tutorial series on how to create your own modules this week.

It has been a big project to write it out, thanks for your patience.

There will also be some free giveaway modules available for download, so you can see some examples and replicate.

If you look at the code for this plugin, it’s literally only 100 rows of boilerplate. It doesn’t currently have any functionality other than registering an options page. Luckily, WordPress no longer allows framework plugins so at least we can rest knowing this kind of thing will not be possible in the future.
