Need just php code…

I have made a template using xhtml and css. I am wanting to make it into a wordpress theme but every tutorial I have tried always comes up with errors…

Basicly, all I am wanting is simply the php that I can add in between the div tags in my site to make it work. No formatting or extra stuff, just the code to make everything in content work, and everything in the sidebar work, etc. I can add formatting later, but want to get things working.

Does anyone have such a thing? Simple cut and paste?
