Need help wrangling "before content" and "after content" objects

    Hello,

    I’m relatively new to WordPress and am having a problem I can’t seem to find an answer for.

    I have a WordPress installation up and running just fine. I have plugins for the Facebook Like button and Twitter button that I’ve set to display “after content” but I want to control the margins between those buttons, the bottom of the content and the top of the post metadata. However, it seems that the “after content” stuff is just free floating and not in a container DIV. Is there any way to wrangle these things into a container so that I can control the spacing?
