    hello,

    How do I get rid of the white space between the picture at the top and the black line with the word welcome in it. All of sudden it shows up like this.

    It appears you (or someone) edited some PHP and left out an opening <. Try finding and fixing that; I suspect it will fix the spacing issue.

    Download a new copy of twentyfourteen. Unzip it locally and upload header.php to your site in wp-content/themes/twentyfourteen, replacing the one that’s messed up.
