  • Hello,

I have the Redirectify plugin installed so that I can redirect a wordpress “page” to another, real page, on my website. You can view what I am talking about in the navbar here: . Look for the “NearEverything” tab.

I have the link working so that it redirects to the page I want to, but I was wondering if there is a way to “mask” or “change” the url of the “NearEverything” tab, when you hover over it. Right now it is pointing to the WordPress page, and then once it reaches there, it redirects. Is there a way to change this to something else? Thanks.

  • There is…

I created a variation on my CG-Redirect plugin, called CG-PageLink. Basically works the same way (link encoded in the page content), but PageLink replaces the actual link URL, whereas CG-Redirect does a 302 redirect.

However, because it is doing a getPage call for each pagelink, I can’t speak as to how optimal a solution it is. My preference would have been to have an admin interface that linked a given Page with a new URL, but I never got around to writing it.

Let me know if you’d like to try it out. You can always contact me offline via the Contact Us form on my site.

Thank you for your response. I would like to try that out. I can’t find the “contact” form on the page.

    Thanks for your time.
