Need help with “Newer/Older Posts” link

Hi all. I’m a wordpress rookie in need of a bit of help.

A friend did me a huge favor and created a custom theme for me, I have an issue that needs resolving, and I’d rather not ask him for any more help… so here I am.

The issue I am having is I have the “Newer/Older Posts” link is appearing at the top of my right hand sidebar, but I’d like to locate it at the bottom of my page, beneath the posts.

It also appears to be reversed: reads “older” when it should say “newer”, and lastly the text color needs to be changed.

I’ve had a fair amount of success mildly tweaking the stylesheet, but I’m not sure where in the code this is for me to fix it.
