I am very new to wordpress. I am helping fix someone’s website. I need to update a web to lead form that stores information into Salesforce. My problem is that I can’t find where the existing form is.

All I see in the code is this line

    [modalform title=”blackthornQuote”]Request Quote[/modalform]

but I don’t see where the form is. I see many Contact 7 forms, but I don’t see any with this title. I went through all the plugins that are installed, and can’t find it anywhere.

Any ideas where I could look?

    thanks

  • Hello,
    Then install it. Its simple.
Contact with your theme author. then will give you the right plugin.
    thanks.

I’m sorry I don’t understand what I should install. This is a working form that I need to locate so I can update it.

This is not the shortcode for contact form 7, this is probably a popup maker and the CF7’s shortcode is placed into the content of that popup.

In the list of plugins, are there any that scream I’m a modal maker! that could possibly be where this shortcode is created from?

Thank you @kyjus25 – I did go through all of them and one of them is called Purethemes.net Shortcodes (description: Adds user-friendly popup to generate shortcode)

    But it is not active.

Other than that it has following

    Aqua Page Builder
    Brilliant web-to-lead for Salesforce
    Contact Form 7
    Easy Table
    LayerSlider WP
    Redirection
    Simple Share Buttons Adder
    WP-PageNavi

I went through all of these and didn’t find the form I was looking for.

If you deactivate all your plugins, does the modal still work?

If it does still work, you might try checking the functions.php of the active theme, perhaps the shortcode is created there. Just do a search inside the PHP file for “modalform”.
