    I use theme Zexee for my website, http://www.centralilsavings.com. I love this theme except for two issues: The image borders (I would rather not have a border) and the fact I can’t center images (when editing a post, I can tell it to center the image, but when it publishes, the photo is always left aligned).

    I tried fixing both but managed to screw something up. I’ve gotten things back where they were but am stumped as to how to solve my original problem. Any assistance, such as specific code language to look for, would be greatly appreciated.

  • You will need to make some edits to your css file in order to achieve the desired results. You will find your css file here:

    /wp-content/themes/zexee/style.css

    1) Image Borders
    On line 76 remove;

    .post-wr a img {
        border: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
    }

    On line 265 remove:

    .entry p a img {
        border: 3px solid #AAAAAA !important;
        margin: -3px;
    }

    2) Image Alignment
    It is possible that the default WordPress image alignment styling is not already in place within your CSS file. I’d suggest taking a look at this article in the codex:
    http://codex.wordpress.org/Wrapping_Text_Around_Images

    Thank you! The border thing worked, and that article was incredibly helpful for centering. Apparently, the line

    .aligncenter {display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto}

    Was missing. Once I knew what to look for, it was an easy fix.

    Thanks again!

    Ok new issue. Whenever I center an image, if I hold my mouse over it, the image shoots to the left, and the border reappears.

    Ok, also remove line 255 and 266 which also have margin values from your CSS.

    Thank you!
