# Need Help With Basic Plugin Questions

 * Hi, Im new to wordpress would appreciate some help alot.
 * Akismet – tried to upgrade it, but it wants me to pay now. Says there is a free
   option, but it still requires you to go through paypal/ CC to get the api code.
   Can I get the old one back or is it too old?.
 * Add Sig – I want to get this plugin, but I don’t understand how to get it. Can’t
   find it in the plugin list and on the site the download is all txt.

 * Hello Dolly – Seems to come with all blogs. Can it be deleted and does it serve
   any purpose at all?.

 * Regarding Akismet, I know it’s a bit confusing. If you want to use it for free,
   just sign up for a WordPress.com account and get the API key from that. Follow
   this guide:

 * Regarding Add Sig, just follow the installation instructions listed on that page.
 * Regarding Hello Dolly, it’s just a bit of nostalgia that has been with WP since
   day 1. You’re welcome to delete it.

 * Great to know what is going on now. You wouldn’t happen to know why text wraps
   around my images when I center them or why on my PC Titles and images look normal,
   but on my laptop images have a blue lining around them and titles are kind of
   blurred together?.
