Need help setting up "customer area" plugin. Keep getting white death screen

I am a beginner with WordPress, this is my first site actually.
I am up and running, but I recently discovered a plugin called “customer area” and I think it’s exactly what I am missing. I installed the plugin but when I activate it, it wants me to setup some things and if I try to go to the site, I get the white screen of death. If I deactivate it, the website becomes accessible again?
I need some help setting up the plugin and to find out why when I do activate it I get the white screen of death.
