# Need help regarding Authorization

 * Hi, can anyone please tell me how AUTHORIZATION is being done. I understood that
   from the USER_COOKIE, the username is retrieved and the corresponding user id
   and user details are also retrieved. After that the value of ‘wp_user_roles’ 
   is being retrieved which has all the user roles’ names and their capabilities.
   But how is that being linked to the current user. It would be of great help to
   me if someone helps me out with this.
