@stuchwordpress – This will most likely requires some custom CSS and HTML to get the hover effect with the elements you are showing in your example it would not be found in any of the setting or options for NextGEN Gallery.

I know, but is it possible to build it in. To make a inner div in the options of NGG? So it will always display that hover on future portfolio images?

I am having a hard time to put the html / div’s in the right order. It seems to be something with the shortcode from the gallery. Cause it’s in a div that gives : float / innerblock properties.

@stuchwordpress – You mat need to create a custom template … if it was just a simple hover effect then CSS would be enough but because you have active elements in the hover it will require more. You might look at doing this with JavaScript even.

As it is, there is limited help with custom template on this page: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/templates/

    Thanks!

@stuchwordpress – You are more than welcome. Most custom template items fall outside our normal scope of support but if you have any questions please feel free to ask them as the community may be able to offer something from their experiences.
