   Any way to retrieve?

 * What did you lose? Customizations you’ve made in the code, or all your content(
   posts, pages, etc.)?
 * Normally, when WordPress updates, content is never lost.

 * Hello there,
 * In wordpress updation you never lose pages, posts or media. Only the changes 
   you have made in php files and css might be lost.
 * If you have taken the backup of files and database you can retrieve it from there.
