Need help in variable product type (14 posts)

We are now experiencing problems in our WordPress site at the back end control. We are using a variable product type and not the simple product.
Our problem is this, when we add attributes and variations on the product example the sizes and color. On the front end side or the consumer side, when the customer will choose an option about the size and color and then clicking the add to cart, nothing will happen. It will only refresh the site. But if we use simple product it will add to cart but if we use variable product type that problem will occur.

    Need your help please. Thanks

Hi, Sorry I can't find any variable products, though I haven't looked at every product - there are quite a few. Which product is variable? Also I can't see any prices. I don't think it will work without prices being set.

Hi, When you add a vaiable product, please check that you have selected the product in the dropdown. This links the price to the product. See this.

My attribute is Sizes XS and S. I just set up it to any sizes. When I drop it down it shows Any Sizes, XS, S.

Hi, OK, the price per variation is not in the markup where I'd expect, so its not picking up the price. Please check that Inventory is set to "In stock". Otherwise could you republish sampleproduct and I'll have another look.

Hi, I've tried but been unsuccessful. Unless anyone else weighs in, I suggest you look at the comments here and follow the link to 8theme for support. Looks like you're not the first to have issues with the cart button for variable products on this theme, so maybe 8theme has a solution by now.
