# need help in getting started

 * Hello,
 *  This is my first time using WP. I installed wp 2.9.2 successfully and also installed
   a template I like called bluetes. [http://wpthemes.toptut.com/](http://wpthemes.toptut.com/)
 * I’m trying to make it look like how it looks in the link above but I have no 
   idea. Every page I publish, it doesn’t not appear… check my test site out.. [http://hamafoto.com/](http://hamafoto.com/)
 * First, how do you add the menu titles such as Home, Classified, Headline, and
   etc.
 * Second, how do you add those modules in the right side you know the one with 
   the add banner, categories, archives…
 * Last but most importantly, how do you add content? I made a page called contact
   with a few text… Contact appears when I reload my page but the content doesn’t
   at all… Can anyone help me out? Thanks.
 * Thank you for your time… It’s my first time so I look forward to learning this
   cool system!

 * actually, I think the template file is corrupted. I tried another template and
   it works well.
 * Just wondering…
 * does the version of WP matter for templates? I notice on the demo site for the
   theme bluetes, it is 2.9.1 … however I’m using 2.9.2.
 * I guess this is a template issue but if anyone can check it would be awesome 
   to find out why this is happening.

 * Yes, some themes aren’t compatible with wp 2.9.2
