 * sorry for such a basic question but how can I get to the function.php file from
   the wordpress dashboard?
 * I am also looking for how to find the CSS from the dashboard.
 * I’ve tried appearance -> editor and the “editor” tab is not there,”themes, customize,
   widgets, menus, header, background” tabs are
 * I’m using version 4.3.5
 * Thank you! (I’m very new to this)

 * Hello ams11037
    If you are not able to see “Editor” within “Appearance” tab,
   you must had installed any security plugin,so please uninstall your plugins one
   by one and check which plugin is causing this issue.Once editor is visible then
   go to appearance->editor select your theme and you can see functions.php and
   style.css there. hope it will help you

 * Hi,
 * Default theme displays the file under appearance -> editor check [http://screencast.com/t/TlawzRo2Ys](http://screencast.com/t/TlawzRo2Ys)
 * But, if you want to do changes then edit in the file, not from the appearance-
   > editor

 * It may have been disabled, either by your theme or by a constant set in wp-config.
   php
 * That’s not a bad thing.
 * Download your CSS via FTP or via your hosting control panel, then edit it and
   upload the changed file.
