I’ve searched EVERYWHERE to find out how to do this and have no idea. I have ~10 sites that I want to combine into one site.

This is for the communications department of the University I attend. They want to draw attention to their TV show, radio show, newspaper, etc. instead of people just going to the newspaper website.

All the sites have been setup for some time, but even with all of my research I cannot tell or understand how to move them all over to one site.

Please contact me here or at [Email address removed]. Thank you!!

Are you trying to move all of the content onto one single wordpress run site?

It’s actually pretty easy to do the move– organising everything might be tricky afterwards.

in wp-admin/tools, choose export, to download all of the content plus attachment info. DO NOT delete the blog yet.
In your new super-duper blog, go to tools and choose import. You’ll be prompted to upload a wordpress plugin. Once it’s activated, you can use it to import the file that you downloaded, and it will also import all attachments from the original blog.
You’ll want to pay attention to the user options just before you hit the “go-ahead” button.

You can do this with as many blogs as you have.

If you mean to create a multisite with wordpress, the process is the same except that you’d be importing content to a newly created subblog.

    Does that help?

I believe that is what I am looking for! I’ll try it out and give an update. I really appreciate it!
