• Hey all,

I’m a photographer searching for an ecommerce solution and am coming up short for my needs. I was looking for something that could be easily integrated onto each page and then pull the featured image (grizzly bear, for example) of the page to associate with the product chosen (12×18, for example). I was close to committing to WP eCommerce, but I’m having trouble getting it to work properly and support seems pretty scarce. At the same time, I’d rather not have someone get redirected to Paypal for checkout – I’d want the whole checkout process to take place on my site (I have an SSL certificate installed).

It seems like ideally I’d like to use a flexible but powerful Paypal cart system with a Stripe checkout, but I’m not 100% sure. I’d need a few advanced features, such as being able to charge tax for a specific state.

I currently have NextGEN Gallery Pro installed, but it’s falling a little short since I want each image on its own page and I’d like to improve the UI of ordering a print. I created my own theme and have done plenty of hacking around on it, so I’m comfortable with some advanced “customization” if necessary if there’s a plugin that’s very close to what I need that someone might know about.

Here’s a sample live gallery image so you can see what I currently have implemented: https://www.freeroamingphotography.com/galleries/gye/grte/leigh-lake/grandteton10386/

What I’d like in place of the NextGEN cart system is to have a small Add to Cart button for each size and surface a print can be ordered on, which would pull the image (it would be the Featured Image). That would be added to the cart and then the user could go to a simple checkout page. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!
