Shortcode shows in widget

Hi.

On my website, or the right hand side underneath the ‘Listen Again’ section, the code for the mixcloud player displays rather than the player itself. I’ve asked Mixcloud for support and they’ve said it’s to do with wordpress.

I found that this is a bug that has been fixed on jetpack about a year ago, you can check if you have the latest version of the plugin, if yes, you can contact jetpack via this link for further assistance Jetpack support

You can usually use a shortcode in a text widget but they may choke in a Custom HTML widget (that seems backwards from what you’d think! Doesn’t it?).

So try the text widget if you’re using a Custom HTML widget or add the functions code mentioned in the second portion of the article to enable shortcodes in the Custom HTML widgets.
