Need Help Changing My Visited Link Color Please!

  • I have been trying to change my blogs color scheme from teal to gray and pink and have managed all except for getting the visited link color to change. It still changes to a teal color and I am wanting it to to change to a different shade of pink. I have already tried changing the color under my visited link and it has no effect so I assume I am doing something wrong. If anybody can help me with this I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!! My blog is :

  • style.css has the following codes regarding visited links:

    line 262:

    a, a:visited, a:link {
        color: #FAAFBA !important;
    }

    line 262:

    a, a:visited {
        color: #FAAFBA !important;
    }

    line 263:

    a, a:visited, a:link {
        color: #FAAFBA !important;
    }

    line 18:

    a, a:visited {
        color: #FAAFBA;
        outline: medium none;
        text-decoration: none;
    }

    Open the style.css in Appearance > Editor, then change the color code (#FAAFBA) to the desired one.

    I have a feeling the teal colour is so on a non-link element.
    Which page has the teal colour and where?

    Make sure you’re making changes within a Custom-CSS-like plugin or a Child Theme, otherwise you’ll lose your changes when you update the theme.

    this has been fixed, thanks
