    Hi Guys,

    Is there a way to add an “s” onto the “http” for the google calendar link that is auto generated?

    I am running a site using https and the http Google calendar button/link that Events Manager uses opens in a separate Internet browser on mobile devices for some reason. I copied the url in manually appending using https to test and it opens in the same Internet browser.

    I found the following code in the em-event.php file but am not a coder so have no clue how to manipulate the value from http to https.

    $gcal_url = '';

    Thank you for your help!

    Apparently this occurs no matter if using http or https. I retested and both http/https open in new browser on two different Android devices used for testing. Unless there is a solution to prevent it from opening in a new browser. I noticed it has a target=”_blank” so not sure why it’s not opening in a new tab on mobile.

    I’d simply prefer to use iCal for both Android and iPhone (because Android mobile visitors get an annoying message saying “this is the desktop version of Google, sure you want to proceed” when using the Google Calendar button)in addition to it opening in a new Internet Browser.

    For some reason though Google calendar also pulls two time zones and messes up the times when using iCal and editing an event, so I have to use the Google calendar button it seems even though it has quirks. Apparently this is common with iCal and Google Calendar and not just isolated to Events Manager.

    If anybody has any tips to get iCal / Google Calendar button working well with Events Manager and WordPress, please let me know.

    yes but you need to do custom coding on this and override that placeholder eg.
